What is Naturalatch?

Playtex worked with specialists at the Boston Children's Hopsital to develop the perfect breastfeeding nipple:

They wanted to develop a nipple that has a flow rate like the breast.
Many nipples flow too fast which makes it difficult for a breast fed baby to accept.
They also wanted a shape and design so similar it feels the same as a mother’s breast

The results was the Natural Latch Nipple, available in Latex & Silicone. These teats are only for the disposable system and not the Ventaire bottles.

Naturalatch Latex Nipple Slow Flow 0 -3 mth

This nipple has a unique raised, textured area which will encourage open-mouth latch-on, more like breastfeeding to help baby' s transition from and back to the breast. The soft, skin like latex succeeds in moving even the most reluctant baby from the breast.

Orthodontic Nipple - Medium Flow - 2pk 3mth +

Soft pure latex orthodontic nipples are designed to simulate the shape of the mothers breast during breasfeeding. Fits comfortably in baby's mouth and encourages healthy oral development.

The original soft natural latex nipple with a flat top has now been discontinued by Playtex and we cannot get any more stock.
The alternative teat is the Naturalatch Latex Fast Flow - it is very similar just that the teat has already been "pulled out"

A perfect choice for babies switching between bottles and breast. To reduce nipple confusion this teat has a unique raised, textured area that is simiilar to the breast and will encourage open-mouth latch-on.
The slow flow is designed to be more like natural breast milk flow.

Naturalatch Nipple - Tri-Cut Adjustable flow Thicker liquid 0+

The Tri-cut opening allows baby to control the flow of liquid by varying sucking pressure. Designed for older babies drinking thicker liquids or formula/breast milk mixed with cereal. Adjustable flow rate is for babies of any age.
